Jwall advances to the Madden Bowl: draft finals

The Jwall team swept the game in two semi-finals of Dusty and no one scored on Sunday night, becoming the first team to advance to the Madden Bowl: Draft Edition finals.

In the overtime of the second game, Jacob "Jwall" Wallack faced the opponent's fourth and goal from the 1-yard line and chose the touchdown to win the game. After the Jwall team won the first game 38-21, he scored 23-17 through a defender diving.

The Madden Bowl has tried a new format this season by appointing eight captains to select two teammates for the game. Madden 21 club champion Jwall joined forces with Jacob "Fancy" Worthington and Joshua "DatBoi" Wright, while Hayden "Dusty" Hartigan chose Noah "Noahupnxt" Johnson and Kyle "KMaC" McAllister. Dusty led the second game 17-10 in the fourth quarter, but couldn't stop Jwall's late touchdown offense to tie and force overtime. The game lasted for 13 seconds, and Jwall had Aaron Rodgers compete for a 7-yard touchdown from his pocket-ironically, reminiscent of Rodgers in real life who did not do it very late in the NFC Championship game last season.
