But yeah – the real headline is the return of Standoff. If you were around during BO2, you know this map flows like a dream. It’s been given a visual overhaul but stays faithful to the original layout, so expect it to slide straight back into the rotation without missing a beat.
It’s not just the arenas getting attention – Season 1 kicks off with the first Battle Pass, meaning a fresh grind for cosmetics and gear. We’re getting seven new DLC weapons that should shake up the current gun meta, plus there’s a new Zombies map in the pipeline. Warzone’s also getting its big update, plugging into Black Ops 7 with the Haven’s Hollow Resurgence map. Those extra three maps will drop mid-season, so week one’s all about learning Utopia, Fate, Odysseus, and Standoff.
With so much landing in that first week, there’s plenty to pull players back from other titles and into the BO7 grind.
