What If Atziri Is Blocked?
One of the most frustrating scenarios is accidentally blocking all paths leading to Atziri. When this happens, you cannot progress to a full reset through normal means.

You Don't Need to Place Every Room
One of the most common mistakes players make is overbuilding the temple too early.
If you're offered poor pathway tiles or encounter rooms that lead to dead ends, it's often better to start the run without placing anything. Running the temple as-is won't advance your progress toward special rooms, the Architect, or Atziri-but it also won't lock you into a bad layout.
Think of early runs as scouting attempts rather than full commitment.
Focus on One Side of the Board
When planning for long-term farming-whether for Uniques, Vaal-specific loot, or Path of Exile 2 Currency-focus on expanding one side of the temple.
Leave either the left or the right half mostly empty. This gives you flexibility later to:
Build clean pathways
Connect high-value rooms
Avoid dead ends
