The Pacific Standard Job is where GTA Online's original heist run turns into a proper street-level robbery. Four players pay a $25,000 setup fee, work through five preparation jobs, and hit the main Pacific Standard Bank. A crew with decent GTA 5 Accounts experience will have an easier time assigning roles, but communication matters more than flashy gear. The headline take is $750,000 on Easy, $1,500,000 on Normal, and $1,875,000 on Hard.
Most teams worry about the cash, but the escape is what decides the result. Damage to a money carrier makes the bags spill, so keeping the full take means limiting exposure from the bank to the getaway boat. The Elite Challenge adds pressure: finish in under 10:15, avoid calling NOOSE, and keep every player alive. The job also unlocks the Savage, Principe Lectro, and Gang Burrito Van.
Work Through the Setups
Vans starts with two Driver-and-Navigator pairs. Navigators use Trackify to identify Post OP vehicles, photograph the plates, and find the van carrying Lester's transponder. Signal then takes the crew to Avi Schwartzman on the island. Clear the police, get Avi onto the boat, and cut through Lago Zancudo rather than staying near the shoreline. In Hack, one Transporter takes the rival crew's white Burrito and hacking equipment to Vinewood, while three Decoys keep enemies busy in the black van. Once the Transporter reaches the garment factory, destroy the decoy vehicle.
Protect the Vehicles
Convoy is less about shooting wildly and more about controlling the ambush. Block the road, deal with the helicopter and Merryweather escorts, then leave the target military truck intact. Two players drive it while the others use the Insurgent as cover. Bikes is easier if the Lectros survive the clubhouse fight. After stealing them, ignore the first suggested turn: go straight, take the next right, and you can bypass the opening roadblocks.
- Give the Hacker and Demolition players clear roles before entering the bank.
- Keep one player responsible for the whole money bag whenever possible.
- Use nearby cover and move quickly once the alarm sounds.
- Do not blindly follow the escape waypoint; plan the route to Cassidy Creek.
Break Into the Bank and Escape
At the bank, Crowd Control should handle guards and frighten the hostages without hitting them. Demolition burns through the lobby doors with thermite, while the Hacker opens the security door. After the vault gate is breached, collect the cash and regroup outside. The police response is heavy, so lingering in the building usually ends badly. Take the bikes, a police car, or a SWAT van, then follow the left highway towards the cliff near Cassidy Creek. Reach the boat below and keep the carrier crouched during the ride.
Manage the Take
A poor run can leave only $750,000, while a solid Normal run may reach $1,050,000 or $1,200,000; Hard pays up to $1,875,000. Setup rewards are $15,567 on Easy, $31,350 on Normal, and $39,188 on Hard. The host commonly takes 30-40%, with crew members receiving around 15-20%, depending on the result and agreed split.
