Teleport to Catherby could be substituted with the OSRS gold Teleport to Camelot or a Camelot tab. There is no Trollheim patch. Trollheim Patch cannot be diseased/die. Magic Secateurs are optional but can increase Herb yield. Presently, I'm not sure whether it is worth the effort to use Juju Farming tinctures - though they're helpful, they take a very large amount of ingredients to create. They do, however, provide Torstol seeds a viable option for earning money, with the average of a higher profit than Snapdragon even for other patches than one like the Trollheim patch.
One thing to note here , which outlines only a handful of options, and I'm pretty much in agreement. Juju farming potions, they're a great bonus to a herb run. They provide one-in-three chances to pick up 2 herbs at the same time. I've only done one with less than 50 herbs, even if they die. My top is around 70.
However, as leaf states it's an unnecessary time to stay at Herblore Habitat just to prepare the potions. I make them each week for an instant bonus XP bonus for finding all 10/13 jadinkos and any seeds discovered during the process which are planted and used.
They're only for about a minute, which is why the best way I've found to get every patch with one dose of potion is : get at the Trollheim patch, drink an ounce of juju in the farming pot, REPEAT STEP, Ectophial transfer into Port Phasmatys run to patch, REPEAT STEP, the cabbage port (explorer ring) to Talkative patch, REPEAT STEP, Cloak Teleport to Ardougne Farm and then REPEAT STEP. Camelot tab move through to Catherby patch, repeat step. This doesn't leave much time for a tour of the surroundings, so save refilling buckets, talking, etc. until after you've harvested Catherby.
The repeat step most obvious. harvest(or clean if they perished) Super compost, transplant the herb and record the ones you've harvested using the leprechaun. I use the Camelot Teletab and leave Catherby at the end to utilize the smallest amount of inventory space. In the event that I fail to replant I can get back the way I came to (most of) the other plants with an easy teleport for free. It's also the closest to a bank which makes it very easy to empty inventory or pick up anything you've forgotten
Also , for Trollheim, it's worth having rock climbing boots on to be prepared, and If you are planting more than two kinds of seeds, use your best/most expensive there. If he's got an account and is powermining at the cheap RS gold Living Rocks Carven with the difference in 16 levels it is a shambles chances. However, if he is intends to powermine iron until 99, he'll likely get up to 99 dung before.
