It's worth it to earn these levels. Yip, Tort and Bat are all useful familiars, but I'm unable to think of any cheap way that doesn't take a ridiculous amount of gold runescape prep time. Abyssal Lurkers (Which require you to cultivate abyssal creatures for the abyssal attraction) and Graahks/Kyatt's as the only real-money selling family I've heard of that are less than the age of 66.
I'm not searching for the most valuable pouches. I would like to find pouches that can be sold back in order to reduce my losses There are only 2 mill in my savings account, but want 69 summoning, and I DO plan to utilize as many charms as needed, even at all times if I have to.
As I wrote in that final paragraph, the only selling familiars that I have are Kyatt, Graahk , and Lurker. Other family members may sell if given the right time or at a reasonable price, but it's likely to be a substaintial loss. There's not much the way to make truly useful familiars that aren't at the Yip/Tort stage and that makes most pouches sell at around half the cost of creation or less. In other words, the best strategy to cut down on losses is to make sure you don't waste time gathering the necessary materials to make the pouches which make money and instead create the ones that sell quickly, with the time you've saved, then remake the loss.
I'm aware that this isn't really the kind of answer you're looking for and should someone know of a complex procedure that I'm unable to find, I encourage them to post it. I've had my own experiences with these levels, it ended up being much more effective to just bite the huge price tag instead of trying to squeeze every gp I could get out of the whole thing.
I'd like to suggest Eagle kite because CLS sucks that much. Aside from PvP it is of no purpose, it's outclassed by other things (usually Rapier) in every situation. Bandos is an argumentable choice - maul provides more damage and is faster, but CLS allows you to combat with shields.
If Jad is the only thing you'll use Eagle kites, it's really not worth it. There are plenty of benefits better than CLS. My opinion on the best way to obtain items: Arc Stream - cheap and the best mage ammy in game. Rapier - best melee weapon in game. I wouldn't consider using it just for Jad, definitely for other purposes. I already have buy runescape 2007 gold One, by the way. This is why I was trying to decide on the cls. If it's really not much better than a Rapier in terms of bossing I can get it following the shield.
