Drift Logic is all new protection behavior that is designed for Deep Zone defenders. This prevents deep zone defenders from 'drifting' too far out in the field without having a vertical threat within their zone. Drift Logic lets the defensive player identify a receiver who is in his zone more quickly, and to encase the receiver in coverage as they cross their faces, and not get beat underneath. Many players told us that third window crossers were being executed too frequently and this new 'drift' technology aims at addressing the feedback.
