A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 21, to unveil the Welding Technology Center, the largest community college welding training facility in the U.S. which will establish SCC as the premier destination for welding education.
Nicole Trevena Flores, social science program chair and global education coordinator at Southeast Community College, received a Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program award for the U.S.-Germany International Education Administrators Award program.
