The game launched only a week back, Lost Ark has shot to the top of Lost Ark Gold Steam charts, attracting more than 1 million concurrent players making it the most played games on Steam (based on the number of concurrents) ever. The game was created through Smilegate RPG, Lost Ark is an Korean MMO which debuted in Korea in 2018 before being localized in English and then released to the west via a partnership with Amazon Games. Even though it's been in existence across the US and Europe for a short period It has over 200,000 players on Twitch in the moment and has defeated games like Dota 2, CS:GO, and PUBG with the highest number of simultaneous players on Steam.

So what the hell is a Lost Ark anyway I spent the last week looking into this latest game, hoping to see if it's what it takes to become my newest obsession or something that I'm happy to let others obsess over. Lost Ark is a free-to-play MMO that plays like Diablo. It's an isometric, action RPG with all the cultural hallmarks of a free-to-play MMO with a sexy, underdressed female models and a game chat filled with spam messages from gold-miners. Lost Ark is mindless fun that doesn't penalize players for not taking the game too seriously.

Lost Ark Sets New Round of Fever Time, With Rewards for Honing and battling
