I believe that the fact that we have these IPs

A first-person shooter inspired by StarCraft is believed to have become one of the Blizzard's White Whales. There was a report recently of a project that was a first-person shooter set in the StarCraft universe that was cancelled, and then there was StarCraft Ghost.

Also, when we think about in terms of "What kind of D2R Items IP should we choose to use and how should we look at it?" the team holds a lot of authority to make decisions on that. But we also need to really think about what games and IPs teams are most happy about. What IP is suitable for different kinds of games.

I believe that the fact that we have these IPs that contain the stories, the time frames or any other story about games which are part of them, I consider that an asset. I don't consider that as a disadvantage. I believe that the capacity and the desire to create new is also important, and we've shown that we're able to do that by using Diablo We'll demonstrate it again in the future.

There was a report recently of a project that was a first-person shooter set in the StarCraft universe that was cancelled, and then there was StarCraft Ghost. Are you sure that that is a concept you still want to pursue?

You know, I think one thing I would mention is there's been recent news stories about games we have not moved forward in, but internally, it's been established that 50% of the games we launch actually launch.

This is why the fact there is no progress on the game we're working on or this one is kind of an indication that Blizzard is functioning as usual. I would say that for the majority of games we've launched aren't yet released due to various reasons the majority of people don't even recognize their names outside of Blizzard. The games don't get much interest.

So this is just sort of normal Blizzard being Blizzard in the sense that we evaluate games and decide what games are going to progress and what games aren't going to move forward. I'm an avid StarCraft player personally, and so I'm eagerly awaiting new games from that universe. But I think it's an integral part in the process of creating. The creative process is not cheap D2R Ladder Items linear. It's a very intricate process.
