Madden NFL 23 acknowledges that it made a refereeing mistake in Washington-New York game
There was some controversy on Sunday night when at the conclusion of the game Mut 23 coins, the official mistakenly signaled for a first down and moved the chains. The chains were then moved back following play and transformed into fourth down. Madden NFL 23 vice president of officiating Dean Blandino said the crew committed a mistake and should stop play to rectify the issue.
"In this scenario, where there is a clear confusion regarding the status of the down, the game should have been stopped prior to third down and the correct down communicated to both teams. This should have happened regardless of the fact that Washington had no timeouts , and the time was within the two-minute time limit."
Jay Cutler "week-to-week"
Jay Cutler is reportedly targeting the week 14 return of his ankle injury. However, his status for the game next Monday isn't expected until later in the week. Bears director of football Marc Trestman said Cutler remains "week-to-week."
The Bears will resume training on Thursday and Cutler's involvement levels could go a long way towards determining his position against Dallas. If he's in a position to participate even in a restricted manner then he may be on track to return on Monday. But if not it may be Josh McCown getting another start for the Bears.
McCown has been a good player for Chicago buy madden coins, but Cutler's absence has been evident through the stats. The Bears have an average score of 29 per game in games in which Cutler starts and 22.8 PPG in those started by McCown.
