One month has passed since Elden Ring's release, which is probably FromSoftware's most souls-like release so far, and the action-RPG is still on Elden Ring Runes everyone's their minds. It's still on mine although I did manage to get out of in the Lands Between briefly to play Ghostwire: Tokyo. I am awed by the characters and world of Elden Ring and Ghostwire, but I've never imagined them in Tekken 7. Well, that itch--if there ever was one - has been scratched by modders who thought it would be cool to see people like Melina and Radahn fight in a different context.
A modder known as Ultraboy decided to alter a few Tekken 7 characters with folks who you fight in Elden Ring. It's dubbed "The Ultimate Elden Ring Mod," and available through the site Tekken Mods, it swaps standard fighters like Kunimitsu and Lidia for Malenia and Melina and Melina, respectively. The Starscourge Radahn also appears (as as the wrestler Marduk) and so is the Ethereal Stall Torrent (replacing Kazumi's tiger) as well as five other Elden Ring characters.
Take a look at the video below. Do you remember seeing "Ranni the Witch fighting the shit out an Tarnished inside the Raging Wolf armor set" on your bingo card? It sure did not. Bandai Namco published both games, so maybe you could extend your imagination to claim there are "lore motives" to Elden Ring Runes buy allow the two worlds to meet. It's not the first time Tekken has made a crossover, and it definitely isn't the first game's mod. Even so, I'm mildly sad to think that Radahn is now kicking my ass for each of Elden Ring and Tekken.
