Shadowlands is World of Warcraft's eighth expansion, and will continue directly from the events of Battle for Azeroth. Initially declared at cheap TBC Classic Gold BlizzCon 2019, Shadowlands will have us trace Sylvanas Windrunner into the afterlife because she wreak havoc in the realm of the dead.
Much like any new World of Warcraft growth, we could expect a whole host of fresh features to keep us occupied, but Shadowlands also has big changes lined up for its occupants of Azeroth. The maximum level will probably be squished from 120 down to 60, various character customization choices will be made available for the first time, and there'll be a completely new levelling experience to enjoy.

Shadowlands will take players from Azeroth because we know it and place us from the world of the dead.
Sylvanas Windrunner has always been an ambiguous personality, but lately expansions, she has been producing increasingly questionable decisions. This has culminated in her showdown with Saurfang in front of the gates of their Horde capital, Orgrimmar, in the latter section of Battle for Azeroth.
After visiting Icecrown, and destroying the veil separating Azeroth from the Shadowlands, gamers have been left with no choice but to follow her. However, this really is the land of the deceased, so players will be able to request the help of allies that are recognizable -- and older enemies -- to put an end to Sylvanas' plans, whatever they may be.
New zones in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands and their Covenants

Contrary to the modern game, there is not any official'searching for group' system that locates people to play with you and teleports all of you to the dungeon.
