U4GM Route Guide for Diablo 4 Treasure Goblin Farming

March of the Goblins gives Diablo 4 players a good reason to chase down every little thief they spot. During Season 15, the event brings more Treasure Goblins to Sanctuary, along with a reputation track and plenty of chances to collect materials, Runes, Obols and valuable gear. If you're hunting for D4 items, don't rush straight into a long overworld circuit. A little preparation at the event board can make every goblin you find afterwards more rewarding.

Start With the Reputation Board

Head to the Altar of the Goblin in western Kyovashad and check the ten reward tiers. Goblin kills advance the track, but the important milestones are ranks 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10. Each adds a stacking boost to the chance of getting extra Treasure Bags. You'll pick up Gold, crafting materials, Obols, Gem Fragments and Runes along the way. Rank 9 offers Legendary gear and Temper Manuals, while rank 10 includes the Regalia of the Sacred Creed cosmetic and Fedric's Masterpiece cache, with a Resplendent Spark and Runes. Those rewards are nice, but the bag boosts are what make the rest of your hunt pay off.

Give Infernal Hordes a Try

Walking around the map at rank 1 works, but Infernal Hordes can get the reputation grind moving much faster. Look for an Aether Goblin Chaos Wave; one wave may give you enough kills to reach rank 10 in a single run. To improve your chances of seeing Chaos Waves, unlock Total Chaos on the middle path of the Infernal Hordes War Plans tree. You'll have one fewer Infernal Offering choice per wave, so there's a tradeoff. War Plans become available after the Lord of Hatred campaign when you visit Tyrael in Temis.

Make Your Overworld Runs Count

Before you leave town, consider switching off Cross-Network Play from the character selection options. You may encounter fewer players competing for the same goblins. Hiring Subo also helps: his tracking marks nearby enemies and resources, making targets easier to notice. In Skovos, start at Celestia and circle Akarat's Bulwark, Shepherd Hills and Observatory Approach. In Nahantu, try a route from Samuk through Five Hills and towards the Restless Canopy. Base game players can start at Marowen and search Northshore and The Cursed Scarps. Keep checking the full map, too. A distant goblin icon is easy to miss on the smaller map, but a quick pin gives you somewhere to ride.

Take the Hunt Into Dungeons

Nightmare Dungeons offer another route once you've adjusted their War Plans tree. Goblinfall can produce Sigils with the Treasure Breach affix, while Altar of Avarice adds altars that summon goblins after elite kills. Greed is Good gives slain dungeon goblins a chance to open a portal to the Goblin's Retreat. Inside The Grand Hoard, you'll find chests, more goblins and Aurix, The Hoard Eater. There's even a curious cow statue to inspect. Whether you're browsing D4 items buy options or gathering your own gear, these dungeon runs give you another way to stock up while the event lasts.
