They'd have to make an enormous amount of allowances to place Beckham onto the roster in the coming season, and they'd only be able to play nine games from Beckham (if he doesn't throw at the idea of being in Detroit) prior to becoming a free agent. There's a chance they'll receive a compensatory selection out of it, but this is in the event that they're not actively as free agents.

When it is Madden, we don't have to fret about locker room drama and establishing a culture or even bother over the cap on salary too much.
