I'm hoping to be proficient at runescape like the good people who have level 120, complete flocks and a godsword that has an amount of 30m already in RuneScape gold bank. I have a full rune, an ax of Neit along with 200k and several other things. It would be great if you could assist me in becoming proficient at playing, tell me about the way I need to learn and how I should get money. I must go to school so that I don't have all day to go out and get 99 slayers or whatever. I require money, high-powered combat, and ty to get your help.
The training of slayers, not nessicarily for 99, is a fantastic way to improve your combat and earn money. Do the quest monkey madness and switch your dragon longsword by a scimitar which is a more powerful attack speed for not much less power. Also, think about getting the full void set to help you hit better in combat, and thus complete tasks more quickly. Guthan's set is also useful, as it heals you and makes it easier to eat when you are working.
Slayer is a great way to improve your melee skills, so if you're doing training, go for it. It's a great way to break the monotony of training with one monster. Someone who doesn't have 85 Slayer, Abby whips are around 1 in 540, not killing 125 people camping. The main benefit of Slayer does not come from huge drops, it's those little ones that add up in time, along with clues when you use them and if you are skilled at running herb runs between your tasks.
Well your right, I do not have the 85 slayer. But that doesn't mean I don't know a little bit about it. There's been accounts of having no whip drop within 4-6 hours of constantly slaying. The truth is that it's very rare to drop. Any help website you go to will list the whip as one of them.
The chances of getting whips in the 75-125 kill range is a possibility, not tipacal, but it is possible. It is more likely that you have a chance of getting one within the range of 1-540 kills. However, you might not be able to get one. Also, if you ask anyone why they train slayers, they'll tell you that it's always to get the biggest drops. Examples include whips from abby deamons, sols from ice strykewyrms all of it.
However, even if they do slay those drops, the majority of the earnings won't come from these especially when it comes to ice wyrms. they have amazing drops, the SOL is just a tiny bonus. The 1:540 is the standard drop (mite be 520, can't remember) but it comes from players submitting how many kills it takes them to get a whip, it is possible to find into your range, however that isn't the drop rate.
Helm of Neitiznot - It's a good balanced helm, go for cheap RS gold Verac's or Torag's helm for more defensive stats or Fighter hat to increase offensive statistics (about the same statistics as the Rune full helm, but with bonuses in Crush, Stab and Stab, Slash and attack Styles)
