At certain points in the battle, either Lost Ark Gold a sun ring (left picture) or moon ring (right image) will be formed in the middle of the fight (this is not exactly the same as the dotted circle seen in a later mechanic. Look up our Dotted Bar section for that).

If Argos has a sun ring around him the people who have the sun affix are able to sit within it and suffer harm. But, if, however, you've got an affix for moon and are within the sun's circle that is, a depleting bar will appear over your head.

If you let the bar completely run out, you'll take massive damage and eventually die; prevent this simply by getting out of the circle. After you've done this, the overhead bar will be begin to reset, and you'll be able walk back in the circle to take on more harm, but keep in mind that you'll have to leave the circle each when you're trying to reset the bar.

Argos will periodically summon either moon or sun orbs in a series of four. These are to be soaked but only soak one orb, since If you soak more than two, you'll suffer unneeded damage and become stunned. Therefore, if four sun orbs appear that means each player with an affix of sun, of which there are four (provided no one is dead), should soak one orb per.

If the orbs are left unsoaked, they'll call an adequate area-of-effect (AoE) circle that will explode and cause the damage. If someone has died, leave the orb unsoaked instead of soaking two yourself. While the circle it causes is easily avoided, the damage of the two orbs being soaked isn't.
