One of the biggest announcements of Star Wars Celebration 2022, Respawn and EA confirmed that Jedi: Survivor was real and that it will be scheduled for release in 2023. And while fans are still trying to come up with their thoughts about the initial trailer trailer, Monaghan himself has now spoken about his thoughts on the subject.
Taking to Twitter after Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was announced in its official release, Monaghan said that the game is something that was in the making for a number of years at this point. While he didn't say much about the themes that the story of Jedi: Survivor is going to touch on, he did refer to the themes of the game particularly when compared to Fallen Order.
"I find it fascinating when stories expand in relation to their characters as well as their audiences. I'm looking forward to presenting what Lucasfilm, Respawn, EA and I have been working on in recent years," Monaghan said on social media. "I'm proud to say Jedi: Survivor is a complex fascinating, mature, and engaging improvement to an already demanding game. "In a general sense it's very interesting to learn that the subject is Star Wars Jedi: Survivor appears to be more dark that Fallen Order.
While the original game did have its fun moments the game was generally an extremely dark experience by itself that included some tough moments. To learn that Jedi: Survivor is going to further be embracing this with a tone that is more mature suggests that you should definitely be prepared for an experience that is sure to be emotionally charged.
At the moment we know very little we are aware of what Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will have in store. The most important thing we know is that the game will release in 2023 (likely in the middle of the year) and will be available on cheap D2R Ladder Items PS5, Xbox Series X and PC.
