On today (January 5) Nex is unleashed on Old School Runescape

Nex was teased back in December by the trailer. It read: "The prophecy foretold of an ancient warrior, ensconced in a prison deep beneath Trollheim. A force of such power that it was a tyrant, with four armies fighting against it united to fight its wickedness. They named her the Fifth General. It is believed that she keeps artefacts of immense power and one enchanted seal will be all that separates brave men from her wicked wrath."

On today (January 5) Nex is unleashed on Old School Runescape after 90 percent of the community has endorsed the update. The players can join up in clans of up to 80 to take on the boss. The announcement states that Nex could also be fighting on their own in a private game. Instances can be obtained by completing an Hard Combat Achievements tier, at which point you are able to purchase an instance at 100,000 GP every entry. The higher Combat Achievement tiers lower this cost.

Amid Nex, which is located in the Ancient Prison beneath the God Wars Dungeon, Nex can only be accessed once those who have played the game have completed the Desert Treasure quest and a mini-quest to unlock access to the Frozen Door. The access point is iced-up and was in place since the time that the Dungeon was launched but has been locked up, to this point! When inside the Prison players will have to battle through a huge army (featuring Spiritual Warriors, Mages, Rangers, and Blood Reavers) before they can reach Nex her.

Defeating Nex can cheap RuneScape gold net players great rewards, including the Ancient Godsword, Zaryte crossbow and the famous Torva armour set and many more. Every participant in the match has a chance of obtaining an exclusive item and the top performers getting more items.
