We're pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with the NBA 2K League that makes PS5 the official console of the NBA 2K League. In the coming months, and throughout the league's fourth season tipping off in May, you will see the entire 23 NBA 2K League teams and 138 players in the league play on PS5 in games and other events.
The partnership does not end at that point. The multi-year agreement with the NBA 2K League will also give you, our global fanbase the opportunity to participate part in online fan events which we will host all through the year, with NBA 2K League-related prizes. The first ever fan event will take place in the coming week. We are pleased to share this news. Beginning today, PS5 players based in the United States can sign up to net a spot in the online Three for All Showdown Qualifier tournament. The tournament will take place Monday, April 5 - Tuesday, April 6*.
The online finalist will be able take part in a 3-on-3 tournament alongside influential personalities Troydan and PoorBoySin as part of the second annual NBA 2KL Three for All Showdown competition. It will be held beginning on Thursday, April 9 to 5:00 pm Pacific Time / Saturday, April 10, at 8:00 PM Eastern Time on the NBA 2K League Twitch and YouTube channels. It's an exciting time to participate in the NBA 2KL Three for All Showdown, that will feature NBA 2K League as well as WNBA players as well as influencers on social media competing in "The City" mode to compete for a share in the $25,000 USD prize pool!
